Hello everyone!
I am back!! Kicking-off the new year, Ella celebrated her 4th birthday over the scorching hot summer here in Melbourne and survived the thunderstorms. It has been three years since she came into my life (after adopting her from RSPCA)! I feel very lucky to have found a great first companion dog.
Lily on the other hand restored over the summer break after an eventful pregnancy in August last year giving birth to five puppies. Lucky for her it was summer as she shed her coat leaving a thin layer on herself and fluff balls on the carpet. She recovered fairly quickly and the vet even commented that she's slightly fat, which was a positive indication to her fast recovery.
I am also very excited to share my news with you that planning has commenced for Lily's next litter this year. Our local vet gave me the thumbs up that Lily is in good shape and recommended me to breed her when she is on heat next. That time was Australia Day week and she was mated again with the same stud, Atticus. I will be able to confirm her pregnancy over the next couple of weeks! Fingers cross!!
