Day 60.. It's almost time!

At Day 60 and with only a couple more days till she is in labour, Lily shows no signs of it at all. She was running around the house barking at the neighbour's cats, excited as usual at the door when my family returns home and she can still jump up on my brother's bed to take her nana naps. This was a picture I took of her this afternoon.

Lily's whelping area is all set up! I painted her box brown and it will look something like this below.. Although the picture shows without the door. Last time, Lily went in there by herself when she was ready to give birth, so I hope she will do the same again, whenever that is.

We are all wondering when Lily will give birth. They say it takes 63 days on average. To make it fun and exciting, like last year, I asked my family members and partners to guess when they think Lily will give birth to her first pup (day and time) and how many puppies including how many males and females.

 Judging by Lily's belly, here are our predictions:

• Me: 28 Mar, Wednesday 12.30 am - 4 pups - 3 boys & 1 girl
• Bro: 28 Mar, Wednesday 3 pm - 4 pups - 2 boys & 2 girls
• Em: 28 Mar, Wednesday 12 am - 4 pups - 2 boys & 2 girls
• Li: 27 Mar, Tuesday, 4 pm - 5 pups - 3 boys & 2 girls
• Mum: 28 Mar, Wednesday 9 am - 6 pups - 3 boys & 3 girls
• James: 27 Mar, Tuesday, 11 pm - 4 pups - 1 boy & 3 girls
