Snoozing week

 The joy of Melbourne weather...

Melbourne had a dark and gloomy week last week.. Rain rain rain. It is quite unusual for Melbourne to experience constant rain for over a few days and let alone at night. Sadly for me to say, when we do get such weather, it seems that flooding will happen, as it did up in the country of Victoria. I hope the families are doing ok and get through the flood safely.

With the weather like that, I decided that it was perfect opportunity for me to cuddle up in a blanket and catch up with season 3 of Gossip Girl. My dog Ella was watching it with me until she decided that sitting next to me was too warm. So she found her own space on the big couch, and pretty much owned the couch!

Lily wanted to be close by me, but not on the couch. She was never really a couch person, she prefers sleeping close to your feet or the edge of the couch on the carpet. At 5 weeks pregnant, she needed that rest.. especially after recovering from some pregnancy symptoms. Poor Lily.

Sigh..my adorable dogs.. whoever says that these breeds are like Rotweillers in heart must own a Rotweiller and never understood a Spitz. One reason I'll never trade a Spitz for another breed is their loyalty, cheerful and forgiving personality. They will love and respect when you treat them the same way and of course set boundaries.
