Trip to the Groomers on Labour Day Long Weekend

  This weekend was a perfect weekend because it was sunny sunshine in Melbourne. My lovely pets had a trip to the groomers on Saturday morning and came back with pink ribbons on their head. 

The trip to the groomers was educational because I learnt why Lily was denied a warm bath as she is in her last few weeks of pregnancy. At six weeks pregnant, I was told that the potential stress + warm water = water birth.. and we don't want any of that because her puppies will not survive. So Lily had a maternity haircut instead and a pretty pink ribbon.

Lily is due to give birth on Wednesday, 28 March 2011 at exactly 9 weeks / 63 days. I am not certain how many puppies she will have but theory says the more puppies, the earlier she will give birth, so that could be on day 60-62. She does look bigger than last time. Last pregnancy, she had 5 puppies. I wonder if she will have the same amount or 6. Only time will tell..
