The first five days for little pups

Tiny pups are growing up so fast!! Their little noses are getting darker and some have already developed black noses. Their nails are sharper and their fur are already quite thick!  

Day 3 - Snooze time

It was a warm 28 degrees Saturday and the pups opted for the tiles to help cool them down. I thought this photo (below) was adorable  because the pups were sleeping in straight row yesterday. 

Day 4 - Nana nap

Lily sleeps with her pups every night. It was interesting to observe that after two days of the birth, Lily was comfortable to leave her den while the pups are having nana naps. Last litter, Lily was more protective and spent more time in the early days. This time, she didn't need much encouragement to leave her pups to release in the garden or to have breakfast and dinner. Lily must be a motherhood pro now!

Day 4 - Sleeping with mummy 

And what about Ella? Ella is doing well. Whilst the focus has been on Lily lately and Ella couldn't be there to watch the action, she knows to keep her distance. Lily sent the message at the start. Lily allows Ella to peek and sniff around, which is good to know that there is some trust between the both of them.
